Cultural Trip to South of India 

South India primarily consists of major States in Peninsular India and two groups of islands of Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar. The southern part of India is bound by the Arabian Sea from the west, the Bay of Bengal from the east, and Vindya also Satpura ranges from the North. South India was previously referred to as Deccan or Prakratic derived from an ancient term Dakshin. 
South India is a dynamic part of the nation; it's a mixture of amazement and apprehension. The language belongs to a separate linguistic group but nevertheless was highly influenced by the culture of the subcontinent prior to the Muslim rule era. The language spoken is vastly different from the rest of the Nation. 
Brimming with mystic and most magnificent destinations along with fascinating culture, gorgeous landscapes and fascinating culture of South India is yet to be explored vastly by the tourists. Tourists must explore lush tea and coffee plantations, relax in the backwaters of Kerala, safari, parks, Marvel at some of the majestic and ancient temples, and shop across various cultures.

Tour Duration – 10 Days

The southwest coast of India is a commercial port city. It is also popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. It also loosely refers to a group of islands grouped namely Fort Kochi, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry, etc. Kochi is renowned for its backwaters; there is a chain of brackish backwaters. You can enjoy the backwaters of Vembanad lake, the longest lake in India. Later we can go to the Kerala Kathakali center which was founded in the 1990s. Next, take a stroll across Cherai Beach. One can go swimming through the low tides and slow waves, also perfect for other water sports. Further, we can go to Marine Drive, one of the Picturesque promenades of Kochi. It has 2 walkaway contemporary bridges namely the Chinese Fishing net and Rainbow bridges. A good place to watch both sunrise and sunset over the sea. Next one can visit Fort Kochi, it is preferred to visit it around sunset providing hues of vermilion scarlet let. Moving on to the next destination - Willingdon Island, which is the largest artificial island in India. It was formed by filling in dredged soil around already existing small islands. A town ringed by rolling mountains marked with tea and coffee plantations was established in the late 19th century. This is a hilly region filled with waterfalls, trekking and hiking trails, and enchanting views. One can start with Attukal Waterfalls, one of the four waterfalls in Munnar, which is the best with the luscious mountains. One can carry their swimwear since there is a pool; at the bottom of the fall has enough water to dip and have a bath. Next one can also opt for a trek in the mountains of Munnar to EcoPoint filled with clouds floating across the mountains and rolling down the hilltops. Surrounded by lush green mountains it is a perfect place to scream with an expectation to hear your own echo back.

if we are lucky we can go visit the Tata Tea Museum, and learn about the history of the plantation, its establishment, and the progress of the industry. At the end of the session visit the demonstration room, here you will get a chance to taste a plethora of tea types and flavors and understand the best tea-making process. Next, we can go to Kundan Lake providing a mirror-like image of the lake, sky, and the mountains around it and offering cherry blossom trees in particular weather. This place offers a plethora of natural gems and beauty for the tourist one must not miss. Tourists can go boating on the Shikara boat. And if going at a perfect time tourists can also see the famous Neelakurinji flower that blooms only once in twelve years. Next on the list, one can visit Chinnakanal Waterfall surrounded by greenery, this waterfall is a sight you cannot miss. Furthermore, one can go to the Mattupetti Indo Swiss Farm, as the name suggests is an Indo-swiss project. It is a dairy farm, in a tiny village famous for loquacious green lands and forests. It is a town near Periyar National Park. This place is known for trekking, mountain walks, safari, and boat rides. Tourists can start as mentioned above by visiting Periya National Park and the lake surrounded by greenery and looking around various animals, and also go on a boat ride on the lake. Next, you can enjoy Bamboo Rafting, yes as the name suggests a perfect bamboo boat to experience for all the sports enthusiasts. All trekking and mountaineering can go for Border Trekking offered by various agencies and also the Forest Department in that region. The family picnic spot is known as Murikkady in the heart of nature. It also offers spice plantation stretches through the areas as well as coffee, tea, pepper, and cardamon wafts giving perfect aroma and greenery for a picnic. Another destination is in the backwaters of Kerala. One can enjoy the backwaters here in the Kottayam district which opens up to Vembanad lake and provides a panoramic view of the gorgeous beauty it has to offer. Tourists can start their day by going to the Alleppey beach accredited as one of the best beaches for its intrinsic beauty. A perfect view of the beach and ancient lighthouse, dense palm groves, and green gardens is a sight to watch. Tourists can also do Kayaking in the Alley. This place is renowned for the green paddy fields and the detailed work of the inland waterways that flow around. Next on the list is to stay in a houseboat cruising through the backwaters and relaxing. Later one can visit Marari Beach one of the delights of the Malabar coastline. It is a serene beach to have a relaxing time. In addition, the St. Mary's Forane Church may be visited. It is one of the largest churches and parishes of changing serry. Next one can visit the Krishnapuram Palace. It is one of the most popular museums here. One can also visit Champakulam. Well known for its beaches Alleppey is a coastal town in Kerala. Tourists can start with Lighthouse Beach providing a marvelous view from the top of the lighthouse. Next one can visit Vellayani Lake most famous for freshwaters. One can also experience water sports activities at Kovalam beach. Also, visit Hawah Beach isolated beach. Take a boat trip through the Kuttanad backwaters and Vembanad Lake to observe and feel Alleppey's genuine charm. While you're on the boat, try some of Kerala's delectable cuisine. You may then go to the beach and have a good time. If you want to explore Alleppey's spiritual side, there are churches and temples with remarkable architecture and a tranquil atmosphere. After a three-and-a-half-hour trip, you'll arrive at Kovalam, a charming small beach village in Trivandrum's capital city. Taj Nature Walk
One of the coastal towns jutting into the Laccadive sea is known for watching sunrise and sunset over the oceans. The Thirparppu Falls, one of the stunning manufactured waterfalls, is a good place to start visiting this town. Kanyakumari Beach, located in the country's southernmost region, is next on the list. It is a beach with the confluence of three water bodies namely the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean offering the most enchanting views. Here all the three waterbodies do not mix or merge into one, it is a view to watch 3 coming together but not mixing. Further, one can visit Vivekanand Rock Memorial standing on one of the two rocks there.
After enjoying the beauty, we return to Kovalam, for an overnight stay at the resort. Taj Nature Walk
Trivandrum, commonly known as Thiruvananthapuram, is the capital of Kerela and is well-renowned for its art galleries, temples, and architecture. Tourists may visit the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, which displays a collection of the Royals' ideals of the time. Following that, one can go to the Neyyar Dam and Wildlife Sanctuary. This place is renowned for lions and deer safari this place is a treat for nature and adventure enthusiasts. This park also is the house of crocodiles and an elephant rehabilitation center. Going towards a spiritual turn, one can visit Padmanabhaswamy temple. This temple is embellished with a gold-plated covering dedicating this place to Lord Padmanabha one of Lord Vishnu’s avatars. One can end their day by visiting  Shanghumukham beach renowned for its pristine waters and beautiful sunsets.
